Telephone Triage Protocols for Nurses

Do you have protocols in place for telephone triage? Telephone Consultation Services Ltd will provide training and information for staff (usually nursing staff) on developing and using protocols to ensure patients receive standardised assessment and information that is evidence based on specific ranges of conditions. This information will be in accordance with NICE Guidelines, local service provision and best practice.

This can be developed with your organisation to the level required e.g. protocols on managing common complaints such as fever in a child, childhood vaccinations, headaches, vomiting, diarrhoea etc. or standard protocols can be provided by TCS Ltd as a ‘one off’ service or we can continually review your protocols and provide updates at a mutually agreed time span e.g. quarterly, yearly or on an ongoing basis.

I found myself looking at telephone triage with a whole new perspective, understanding and enthusiasm, which had slowly ebbed away after years of working in an uninspiring and business-oriented call centre environment.
