Quality Audit Services

Poor quality telephone consultations can lead to inappropriate referrals and inappropriate costs to the health service and it can mean unacceptable clinical risk to patients.

Audit services can be highly variable as a result of differing clinical audit tools or processes leading to a lack of standardisation and inequitable assessment. TCS Ltd will be able to work with your organisation to develop bespoke audit services to enable you to carry out audit of telephone consultation work or if preferred, to enable TCS Ltd to carry out audit on behalf of your organisation.

Audit services can include:

  • Carrying out audit on nurses, doctors, non clinicians (call handlers/receptionists)
  • Development of bespoke audit tools
  • Provision of clinical audit tools developed by TCS
  • Audit report writing
  • Reviewing and analysing performance and providing feedback using trend analysis of areas of strengths, weaknesses or learning needs (if appropriate)
  • Bespoke training on areas identified as in need of improvement
  • Support for professional appraisals i.e. qualitative and quantitative information used for appraisal evidence

Very helpful and may very well aid if I am ever in the vulnerable position of having to defend myself in a GMC hearing!
